SOMETIMES I AM LOST
In our late-night talks—
In the ocean of you
Are stars and magnolias. And when the world is asleep
I am yours forever,
My heart and home.
Meagan Schmidt is a freshman in college and is studying at Central Virginia Community College. She is originally from California but moved to Virginia about three years ago. She has loved poetry and storytelling since elementary school, and her favorite genres to read and write about are romance and fantasy.
